    ISO Qualified

    This Institute has been awarded with ISO 29990:2010 certificates for its excellent infrastructure and training methodology.

    Infrastructure

    It is located on a sprawling 17-acre land with well-designed workshops / laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and gadget training as the latest industry trends. In this institute, canteen and hostel services with modern amenities are also available.

    Accessibility

    NSTI is easily accessible as it is situated in the eco-friendly environment at Green Park, Niranjanpur, Dehradun nearer to the main sabji mandi, Dehradun. The Institute is approximately 25 km from Dehradun Airport, 5 km from Dehradun Railway Station and 2 km from Dehradun ISBT.

    New Courses

    Long Term (One Year duration) vocational (ITI) instructor training programme under CITS, Short Term Training for upgrading the skills of engineers, supervisors, technicians, industrial worker were added.

    CITS

    The institute started offering long term training programmes of CITS in Electronic Mechanic, Electrician & Wireman, Computer Software Applications and Computer Hardware Network Maintenance.

    CTS programmes in IOT Smart Agriculture, Solar Technician and Smart Health care.During the one-year duration of Solar Technician (Electrical)trade a candidate is trained on professional Skill, professional Knowledge and Employability Skill related to job role.

    The Institute also started providing training and upgrade the skills of engineers / supervisors / technicians / managers / industrial workers & faculty of educational institutions through short-term courses conducted in modules and tailor-made courses in accordance with the particular requirements of Industries / Govt Est. / Technical Institutions / PSUs.

    The Institute has been awarded with the title of best college of skill training in India by the then invited chief guest on Independence Day.

    The Institute has been awarded with the title of best college of skill training in India by the then invited chief guest on Republic Day.

    Facilities and Management

    More modern facilities and amenities ahs been added to the institute to make it more classy. Solar water heater, quality drinking water etc. has been provided.

    Student Facilities

    NSTI Dehradun has a very decent Boys Hostel accommodation for 120 male trainees that is provided on sharing basis for short term and long term courses.

    Management Facilities

    The Institute is managed by the different levels of Officers vis-a-vis DGT, Director, ADT, Training Officers, Hostel Suprintendents, Wardens and Guards.

    Education Facilities

    The role of the institute is building capacity and strengthen the existing system to meet challenges related to industry and in turn fulfill its mandate.

    Transport Facilities

    The Institute has its own staffs vehicle which helps staffs from each section to get the need of Institute fulfilled by travelling.

    Alumini Facilities

    Alumini meet are arranged annually by the students with the institute support and a samll party is being organized to serve them betterly for institute.

    A Press conference was called out upon the visit of the then Human Resource Development Minister where the plan of all institutes notification to publish in newspaper took place.

    The physicians and doctors from the nearby govt. hospitals have been called upon to meet the requirements of healthcare inside the institute and for future aspects also.

    IBM ADIT Course Introduced

    In 2019 started two Year Diploma in IT Networking & Cloud computing in collaboration with IBM company. The institute has a very unique work culture and has a very strong network.
